DIY Cupid's Arrow Cupcake + Treat Bag Toppers

Hello sweets! Back in November (during the madness of the holidays) Fossil got in touch and asked if I would like to create a Valentine DIY project to share on their site. I love Fossil, so my answer was a quick "yes." I ended up dreaming up a sweet little set that is perfect for a Valentine's Day party for both kids or adults, or just for one special someone: Cupid's Arrow Cupcake Toppers and Cupcake Bands (see how the cupcakes look like they've been shot by Cupid's arrow!). Craft Project: Creative Gift Wrap

I've been playing around with creative ways to wrap gifts lately. I find myself coming up with lots of ideas when I have 23 + gifts to wrap. That's right, I have 23 people on my list this year. Which brings me to a question, how many people do you have on your list? I'm guessing I'm on the high end but I really have no clue. Curious to hear your answers.

Gift Wrapping with Mizuhiki Cord

I decided to decorate some of my Christmas presents this year with mizuhiki cord. The knot on the box is called an abalone knot. It's also referred to as awabi musubi, the Josephine knot, or a good luck knot. This is one of the easier mizuhiki knots to make.




Supplies:
mizuhiki cord - I purchased the cord in SF Japan town. You can also find it online.
